Glimmer came out of being on press during the production of Spiral. The offset process generates large quantities of test sheets, and the color proofing offered up this unexpectedly appealing pre-cut pre-bound configuration of the pages. A few steps in advance of the bookmaking, the sheets are double-sided, every page of Spiral plus one page printed twice for fill, printing marks showing - bleed, crop, color bars, registration, slug.
